Remember to compare these prices to competitors fliers, and price match when you find a better deal – even for your weekly shopping items such as milk, eggs, and produce!
Walmart matchups are a little different than other stores because they rarely put out a weekly sales flyer, and when they do most of the prices advertised are their regular “Everyday Low Prices,” rather than a special sale. Thus, most of the match-ups on this list are “Every Day Low Price” items that match up well with coupons that are currently available. The prices are gathered by physically going to the store and recording prices, then matching up current coupons. If you haven’t seen previous week’s matchups, make sure to look at those, as most of the deals are still current (as long as the coupon can still be printed or isn’t expired).

Walmart’s new coupon policy is very friendly towards couponers AND allows for overage, so there are some great opportunities for saving. Walmart also does price matching for advertised sale prices, and BOGO if a price is listed. They also accept coupons for price matched items, which can really add up the savings! Be sure to print a copy of the Walmart Coupon Policy to take with you.

Food Lion does not double coupons or accept competitor’s coupons. There is a limit of 10 like items and coupons per customer.
BOGO items ring up half price, so you only need to buy one. Only one Food Lion Internet Printable (FLIP) for the same item per transaction. A FLIP may be stacked with a manufacturer’s coupon. Sign-up for the Shopper’s Companion to get FLIPs sent to your inbox.

HEB offers many in store coupons and many times they offer “Combo Loco”, that’s when you purchase a qualifying item (s) and you get other items that compliment that item for free. The free items can be HEB store brands or name brand items.
HEB has a strict coupon policy. There are 3 different types of in-store coupons “type M”, “type B”, and “type S”. Most of their coupons including the ones part of the Combo Loco are “type M” coupons, HEB does NOT allow manufacturer coupon stacking with these coupons. However, you can stack “type B” and “type S” coupons with 1 manufacturer coupon, which can be printed from their site.

Winn-Dixie stores generally do not accept competitor’s coupons. In all areas you must purchase 2 items to get the BOGO price, but you will have an easier time with your coupons if you wait to scan your Winn-Dixie card until the very end. No stores in Florida double coupons, but most stores outside of Florida double coupons up to $0.50.
