The whole page is blank, other than the company logo and things like that. No coupon.

Ruth, I am having trouble clicking on any of the links under blogging format column and source. They just aren’t working for me. I have tried several for the printable coupons and it is not working. I am trying the So Delicious Coconut milk now and I tried the one the lady above mentioned.

Thanks,
Amy

Do you mean that the coupon is no longer there or it won’t take you to the page at all? To get the printable coupons you have to click the links under the “source” column. Not every coupon in the database is printable; some are found in inserts or other places, in which case the outside source will be listed. Printable coupons change, expire, and reach their print limit all the time & while the gals that operate this database (I do not operate the database myself; instead I lease it from a different company) do the best they can, they can’t always catch every coupon right away. Does that help?

OK I was clicking the Blogging format link. These are not working at all. I just tried the source column and it is working fine. THANKS for a great site. Yours is so much faster than the one I was using. I visit almost everyday.

Coupon combo question.
Lets say there is a sale at Target on Kelloggs Cereal 3/$5
I pick 1 Cinnamon crunch and 2 frosted flakes. I have the following coupons:
$1/3 (any kellogg brand cereal) mfr coupon
.50/3 Kelloggs cereal -Target coupon
.55 off Cinnamon Crunch mfr coupon
$1/2 Frosted Flakes mfr coupon.
My final total would be $1.95 before taxes. Can I use all of these coupons at once? I get so nervous sometimes lol like im stealing. Please help.

Hi Brittney,
This is one of the trickier aspects of couponing… you would NOT be able to use all of the MQs you listed. If you buy (3) boxes of cereal, you would only be able to use a coupon (or coupons) that matched equally to the number of items being purchased. In this case, you could either use (1) $1/3 MQ, OR (1) $0.55/1 and (1) $1/2 MQ and then stack it with Target coupon(s). I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

in the coupon database i search ketchup 3 come up but no way to print them ?

Alisha May 27, 2011 at 7:03 pm

Hi Shannon,
The database shows ALL coupons currently available (printable and otherwise), so when you see “$0.25/1 Heinz Tomato Ketchup, exp. 6-19-11 (SS 05/22/11)” that is showing you that there is a $0.25 coupon from the 5/22/11 Smart Source Insert that expires on 6/19/11. Unfortunately, there are no printable ketchup coupons right now. But printable coupons are always changing, so keep an eye on Ruth’s “Coupons to Print Now!” lists…she is great about finding HOT printable coupons. There are a limited number of “prints” for these coupons, so once word gets out, they go quickly! : )

I just went looking for the Axe coupon in RR 5/22 and there was no coupon. :( Is there another insert that it would be in?

Alisha May 27, 2011 at 7:16 pm

Hi Lisa,
Unfortunately, some coupons are regional and not found in all inserts.

Hey Ruth,
I am on your third week of your beginers guide to couponing and I am going to try to get the best savings I can. I usually look at the weekly ads and decide which items to get. About half of the items I have a coupon on.Then my mother comes along and buys things that are sometimes on sale and something I dont have a coupon on. That brings my savings down big time. I usually save 40 dollars on a bill that is 120 dollars. Making my final price 80. Do I have a good stradegy or is my mother holding me back a little.
Thanks, Lena

I would only buy things that you have a coupon for that is how you will save the most money….And tell your Mom not to buy things you dont have a coupon on and if she wants to buy it than she should buy it with her own money…Hope this helps :)

I am unable to move off of page one of the coupon database. It states that there are 4,772 coupons. However, I can’t move past the first 96. Please help! I simply love your website. It has been a God-send for this “ole-timer” that has been doing all of this work the “old school” way. It’s so healpful that I now have my 22 year old niece simply hooked on saving. Thanks sooo much!

Alisha June 9, 2011 at 2:10 pm

Hi Maria,
Try narrowing it down by typing in a specific item or brand in the search box and then press “search.” I am not having a problem getting to the second page, so I’m not sure what the problem could be. But hopefully that will help!

I’m so confused. There are an impressive amount of coupons on this website of which I am so glad of, but I can’t see how to figure out what store each coupon is for. Some say but a lot don’t.

Hi, I am new to clip and saving coupons. I have come across this site, which I find very helpful
My question is, I live in Canada, are there any Canadian sites that you know of?

Thanks in advance.

hi ruth,

i have learned so much from you lately and i sincerely thank you for that. however on so many sites like shopathome, coupon alerts and many others, i feel like i am going in circles. do you have to register for every printable coupon? i am always prompted to do so. then, after registration the promised coupon is no where to be found. whats up with that. if feel cheated. lol. i understand quantites are limited, but his has happened soooo many times.

today, however on my first trip (baby-steps) with 6/$3.00 coupons from the sunday inserts in hand, i purchased 6/6 packs of bic soleil razors for 99 cents each pack at kroger’s mega event, regular price $6.99 on sale for $3.99 minus the $3.00 coupons. this is good!

When you post a coupon in the data base could you start posting the zip code also. I am finding it very hard to find coupons that I am looking for from coupons.com due to lack of a correct zip code. Thanks.

Reply

Ruth September 19, 2011 at 8:29 pm

Usually the coupons from coupons.com that get posted come up under any zipcode–if it is a special zip we will include it. However, the coupons on coupons.com change quickly and the good ones go fast, so sometimes they still show up in the database even when they are gone. I wish there were a way to make the system run smoother, but for now it’s the best we can do. I know it can be frustrating sometimes! :-)

I have a suggestion. This might be more trouble than it is worth and I don’t even know if it is feesable. How about creating a search so that we can search to see if a particular item is on sale or in any current ads. For example, I was looking to see if Purex was on sale last week and I had to search all the stores untill I found one that had it on sale. This would be very benneficial for those of us that let somethings slip by and we need them that week. I hope this is a good spot to leave the “search” suggestion. Thank you so much for what you do.

So when you find where the coupon is ((the source)), why does that source not show the coupon? I have had this happen quite a bit.
For example, I am searching for Charmin coupons. It says that it is at Target, and I went online to Target, and they do not have the coupon. It also says “blinkie.” How do I know which stores the blinkie will be?
Thanks :))

And when it says “smart source”… it says that there is a Smart Source coupon data base at savingwellspendingless.com, but when I search the coupons they are never there…

Reply

Alisha January 1, 2012 at 3:53 pm

Are you talking about it saying “SS” followed by a date? In that case, the coupon would be from the Smart Source insert, not a printable coupon. If it is a printable coupon and you can’t find it, it may be gone (printable coupons often go quickly!). Can you tell me which coupon you were looking for?

Reply

Alisha January 1, 2012 at 3:51 pm

Hi Vanessa – for the Charmin coupon, that is a Target coupon from an insert, NOT a printable coupon (for example, “$2 off Charmin Freshmates AND Bath Tissue, exp. 1/23/12 (Target 11/27/11)” is showing a coupon from a Target insert from 11/27/11. When a coupon is printable, there is usually a link for that coupon. I hope that helps!!
