It seems they have changed their policy slightly again and do accept competitor bogo coupons, they just must have a price listed. However, my favorite part is that they accept manufacturer bogo coupons with or without a price listed.

Hi I am confused. If you have a manufacturer’s coupon that you got off line can you use that with the coupons you clip out the paper as well?

Hello!! I am new to the couponing world and I am trying to understand the “catalina manufacturers coupons”……….. What does that include and how exactly does it work?? :)

Hi Melisa,
Catalina’s are the coupons that print from a “catalina” – they print after your receipt on cash-register tape. They can be used like any other MQ (although most have the store name of whatever store printed them, so you may have to use it at the store where it printed. Some stores will accept them w/ other store names, so will not). I hope that helps!

I had a ruff experience @ Walmart last night….they not only do not accept Target or Walgreens coupons, but would not match the ads for me either : (
I have done all of this at this same store b4, but each time I go back & encounter different Customer Service/Mangement personnel, the rules seem to change. What do you suggest to find out the actual policies for my local Walmart?? I am so disgusted, tht I nearly wanna give up!! I live in a small Oklahoma town, have been couponing for approx 1 1/2 months now & seem to keep running into these problems : (

I have had the same problem. Go directly to the manager. His/her name is printed on your receipt. They should match printed ads.

I’ve been having the same issue as well. I decided to call and talk to the store manager directly. You can also print out the coupon policy and take it to the store with you. I’ve decided that next time I go I will just go ahead and let the store manager know i’m coming and warn her that she’ll probably be called to the front because the cashiers seem to not know their own coupon policy. I wouldn’t be as upset if the cashiers weren’t so rude to me in the past.

Hi i was wondering I just orderd 25 of the bic razors Im gonna use at walmart to get Free and overage on each. Will walmart allow me to buy 25 razors and use 25 coupons in one transaction? Im guessing yes but Ive never used that many of the same item coupons in one transaction. I might just split it up into two visits I dont want to take all the have on the shelf, which they probably wouldnt have that much. Just wondering lol. Thanks for such a great website it is awesome!

I’ve been having great experiences at my local walmart. Considering that the prices are generally lower than the local supermarkets, I take all my ads and they match EVERY SINGLE one of the items; BOGOs are the best to match in my area because of this. I always have it organized before I get to the register and place the Ad in front of those items with all the items circled that I need a price matched. Ad match, on top of my coupons, plus overages allowed, I get the best deal for my money.
ALSO those coupons I get direct from the manufacturer for free items, the system will automatically apply the MAX $$ on the coupon; Free 24ct Advil = $3.29, Register gave me $6 off my total! The cashier couldn’t do anything to overide it. I might have gotten lucky with this.
Sorry to read that most are having issues. I always keep a copy of the Walmart Ad Match and Coupon policy handy just in case.

The people that work at these stores are stupid and rude, I just cannot stand the way they treat their costumers. Like one young lady said that was behind me at WMart.

“Save more, pay less, but not that much” She made my day, even though the cashier was an old grumpo

I had the same thing happen to me at Walmart on price matching. One time they did it no problem, next time the cashier said no and then the customer service person said no. I wrote a long email to the store manager and received a very quick response from the manager by phone. She said if you ever have problems to ask for a manager. That both the cashier and customer service person was wrong. As for cashiers being rude, yes alot are. But they get paid minimum wage and work weird hours, weekends, holidays, and put up with even more rude customers. So just think if you worked 6 days in a row, got off at midnight last night had to be back at 6am, haven’t got to spend anytime with your family and no thank yous from customers or your work if you would be a little bit grumpy. Most cases Management doesn’t follow through get the policy’s to the people who need to know about them.

Today was the third bad experience I have had at Walmart. I took the internet printed coupons for Aqua fresh trail size (.97)and Aveno((.97) 6 of each the printed coupons were for $1.00.) The cashier just walked off with the coupons without saying a word, came back after 7 minutes with an assistant manager and I was told that they would not take internet printed coupons. I also had coupons for Tucks, scrubbing bubbles and 3 other items that they did not even carry . (But they are in your list as on sale at Walmart) I also have over $100 of groceries.
I was again embarressed and mad at how rude I was treated and for all the folks in line behind me.
I’m very new to this and now I do not want to try again
