Hey everyone! Welcome back to Florida! This week I just went shopping at Publix. We did pretty well this week. We didn’t save quite as much as we generally do, because we took my sister with us (who has ZERO care of “saving” money), so she just kept adding stuff to our cart that wasn’t on our list. The good thing, though, is that it WAS on sale (even if I did have coupons at home for the stuff..).
And we still saved over 50%! =D
How did your shopping go this week?
*Please note that this shopping was done on Wednesday BEFORE the new sale started. These prices are no longer in effect.

Happy Friday! This week you’re shopping with Alisha. This was not a super-busy shopping week for me…I had every intention of doing a “major” shopping trip this week, but I just never could get motivated to get my coupons together. But that’s why we have stockpiles!
The most exciting part of my shopping this week was the Huggies diapers at CVS– they earned me a $10 Extra Buck Reward that I can now use on Sunday at CVS. There are so many FREE after Extra Bucks deals next week, and now I have $10 to start with…so excited to see what I can get for FREE with no out-of-pocket cost to me. And all because I bought diapers– something I needed to buy anyway. Yay!
Here is what I got:
At CVS I spent $21.00 for $37.47 worth of Diapers, a savings of 44%.
(not including Extra Bucks into my savings since they haven’t been used yet)

(3) Huggies Jumbo Pack Diapers @ $12.49 each
$10.00 each with CVS Card
$3/1 Huggies Diapers Printable Coupon (NLA)
Final price: $7.00 each + $10 Extra Bucks earned
I also made a quick trip to Target for some great deals on canned and non-perishable items to donate to local food banks. I also found some Kraft Halloween marshmallows on clearance, which made a nice money-maker item (although I forgot to grab them for the picture)! Target technically does not allow overages on coupons, but when I got home and checked my receipt, the full value of the coupons were deducted. All in all, not my greatest week for savings, but hey–any savings is savings, right?
At Target I spent $21.o9 for $52.32 worth of Groceries, a savings of 60%.
(8) Kraft Jet-Puffed Halloween Marshmallows @ $1.19 each (not pictured)
Clearance price $0.11 each

Welcome to a fantastic pre-holiday shopping trip to Kroger and Walmart this week with Jenny. I love this time of year when all of the baking items are on sale and there are great coupons to pair with them. Who doesn’t want a $.19 bag of marshmallows? And cinnamon rolls for $.88? We have now designated Mondays as the morning for cinnamon rolls (otherwise the kids ask for them every morning). For some reason I forgot to put all 7 packs of butter in my picture (oops). They brought my percentage down because they were only 50% off, but I haven’t ever been able to find butter for under $2. Usually the store brand goes on sale for $2.50, so I was ecstatic.
